Women in the Work Industry
On this page, you will find my three-part multimedia news package which includes an article, podcast, and video that dives deeper into the misrepresentations and stereotypes women, specifically women in the work industry unfortunately face in our society today. Through this package I hope to bring awareness to these issues and help bring change.

News Feature Article
In my news feature article, I discuss and explore the lack of women in higher position roles in the work industry. I also interviewed two women to hear both of their experiences working in a managerial role.

Podcast
In my podcast, I speak to Dr. Gitanjali Singh, a women's studies professor at CSUDH where we discuss various topics including her journey as a professor, and about a class she teaches called "Politics of Women’s (Un)Paid Labor," and why classes like this are important especially to try and create change for women's equality in life and in the work industry.

Feature Video
My video highlights and gives a tour of the Women's Resource Center, a hidden gem on CSUDH's campus. I also interviewed two of the center's peer leaders who give a little bit more insight on not only what the center offers to students, but also discuss the lack of representation centers like this have in the news.
